After Care

KMS provides After Care until 5:30 p.m. each school day, supervised by our After Care staff. Primary students enter After Care at 2:30; Elementary students at 3:15.

After Care provides an unstructured time for the children to move, rest their minds, and build on the social skills that are introduced during the school day.

Recognizing the importance and need for children to be in the outdoors, the majority of After Care is spent outside on the playground in all types of weather and temperatures. Like in the classroom, we encourage our children to come prepared for various weather conditions (rainboots, jackets, etc.).

If there are extreme temperatures or weather, indoor space and activities (like drawing, puzzles, and more) are available.
